由吉他手吴佩岭和主唱王心怡组成。已发行四张创作专辑《房东的猫》《柔软》《这是你想要的生活吗》《世界/青年》、一张原创EP《关于彻夜不眠的事情》。19年她们带着新作品开启了「生活」场馆巡演，21-23年她们带着对生活的全新感受开启了「关于彻夜不眠的事情」15城LiveHouse巡演，千人场次场场爆满，周中场次亦秒罄。她们的音乐在台湾、香港乃至马来西亚等地也十分受欢迎，是近年来为数不多能在港台地区进行馆级演出，去参加海外国际音乐节的新生代创作型音乐人。
近年来，她们不断突破自己，为电影、电视剧、动画演唱插曲，参加音乐类节目《我是唱作人第二季》《天赐的声音第二季》《谁是宝藏歌手》《天赐的声音第三季》《我们民谣2022》，呈现了风格不同的舞台，也获得了良好的口碑。
房东的猫的音乐初听感觉非常的干净与清澈，平静中带着治愈。随着时间的推移与作品的累积，可以看出她们在不断寻求更多的可能性的同时，却始终都具备着温暖的基调与感人的力量，这是非常难能可贵的。
The Landlord’s Cats, a singer-songwriter duo.
It consists of guitarist Wu Peiling and vocalist Wang Xinyi. They have released four creative albums “The Landlord’s Cats”, “Soft”, “Isn’t it perfect”, “World/Youth”, and an original EP “The Things About Staying Up All Night”. In 2019, they opened the “Life” venue tour with new works, and from 2021 to 2023, they opened the “The Things About Staying Up All Night” 15-city LiveHouse tour with a new understanding of life, which was packed with thousands of fans and sold out immediately even in midweek. Their music is also very popular in Taiwan, Hong Kong and even Malaysia, and they are one of the few new generation of creative musicians who can perform in Hong Kong and Taiwan and participate in overseas international music festivals in recent years.
In recent years, they continue to break through themselves, singing for movies, TV dramas, animation episodes, and participating in music programs “I’m CZR 2″, “THE TREASURED VOICE 2”, “The Treasure”, “THE TREASURED VOICE 3”, “We Folk 2022”, presenting different styles of the stage, but also won good reputations.
The Landlord’s Cats music feels very clean , calm and healing at first hearing. With the passage of time and the accumulation of works, it can be seen that on one hand, they are still holding the unique warm tone and touching power, on the other hand, they are constantly seeking more possibilities, which is very valuable.
